Majority of the workforce in India is working from their homes, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And the majority of the cities in India have also been going under a lockdown where restaurants and food outlets have been advised to be closed.
Thankfully, the delivery of food has been allowed, and a lot of us rely on services like Zomato to get our food delivered at our doorstep.
I don’t know about you, but for me, every time I order something from Zomato, I keep looking at my phone to see how long will it take for the Zomato valet to reach my place.
It is pretty inconvenient to do it when you are working on a computer. I tried tracking my Zomato order is on my computer, but the user interface of Zomato website on desktop is completely different from the app.
The option to track your Zomato order on the Zomato website is available on a page which can be found by clicking on your Display Photo/ Name, appearing in the top right-hand side.
This page gives you information about your recent activity, the photos you have posted, the reviews you have posted, the restaurants and hotels you have bookmarked in your favourites, you are ordering history.
You can click on your ordering history to check out all the orders you have placed and the recent one would give you the option to track it.
Just click account ‘View Details’, and you’ll be able to track your order.
Please note that it is not ‘Live Tracking’, but gives you a better idea of how long it is going to take. At least you don’t have to pick your phone every few seconds to check the location of your order.
