If you’re looking to know how you can send messages on WhatsApp to a number which is not in your phonebook , read this article to know more about it.

Sending messages on WhatsApp is pretty easy, e in fact WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging apps available. Who are billion messages are sent by millions of people worldwide?

And over a billion people have installed WhatsApp from Play Store alone.

It is not a surprise if delivery guy, a support guy who has to visit your home will ask you to send the location of your home so that they can reach your place.

Or maybe An acquaintance who will ask you to send them more details on WhatsApp. If you have to communicate with them on a regular basis it is advisable that you save their number in your phone book but if it just wants time matter, here is a rather clever workaround.

You won’t have to save their number in your phone book yet you can send them messages in WhatsApp.

Although there are multiple apps available in the Play Store that can help you do it but we are not going to take any help of a third-party app. In fact, we are going to use WhatsApp’s feature of sharing something on WhatsApp.

It has a link which looks like this –

https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=

After ‘=’ you can type the number on which you want to send the message.¬†One thing to keep in mind is,¬†also type the country code.

For example: If you are sending messages to someone in India, type 91 followed by the phone number.

For easier access you can either bookmark this in your browser so that it is easier for you to access. Once you have this link you can type the number of copy-paste it and then tap enter again, which will redirect you to WhatsApp opening the chat window with the number.

For the ease of our users, I have created a short URL with a redirect to the WhatsApp URL. Since most of our readers are from India we have already entered the country code for India.

When you type tippr.in/sendwhatsapp in your browser, it will redirect to https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=91, and you will have only to type in the number.
