The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is finally official from Samsung.
It would be the first smartphone in the Galaxy A series, which is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset. Which is a great thing considering, it belongs to a premium mid-range segment.
It is the first non-flagship smartphone from Samsung to have flagship-level chipset.
Snapdragon 855 chipset is also seen in Samsung flagship smartphones the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series.
The usage of Qualcomm flagship chipset also enables the support for 5G networks.
Specifications of Samsung Galaxy A90
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch super AMOLED display with full HD resolution (2340 X 1080 pixels).
The display has got a U shaped notch, which houses the 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone has also got a triple camera setup at the back with 48-megapixel being the primary camera having an f/2.0 aperture.
The other one pixel ultrawide with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor camera.
The smartphone comes in 6gb, 8GB of Ram and 128 GB of internal storage that can be extended up to 1215 GB via microSD card.
It also has got a massive battery of 4500mAh, with support of 25w fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 has an in-display fingerprint sensor and also has got support for face recognition.
It is also the first non-flagship smartphone to support Samsung DeX mode, which allows users to turn a smartphone into a desktop system, by connecting it to a Monitor or TV, using a USB type C to HDMI cable.
Smartphone has launched in Korea and will be available in other parts of the world soon, including India.
As about the price, since it belongs to a premium mid-range category expected the smartphone to be under Rs 40000 but more than Rs 35000 also. We will be updating the article with more information as we can it.
