WhatsApp has a user base of more than 1 billion users worldwide, and there is no competition for the instant messaging app available for multiple platforms.
Although there is one app that always comes with some innovative feature, and can be seen as a real Rival for WhatsApp. It’s the Telegram app.
It has recently introduced a few new features for its users, and we think these features should also be coming to WhatsApp.
The Telegram users would have the ability to send a message without a notification, serving the receiver.
The feature also works in groups, so, the uses of the group can have late-night conversations without disturbing other people.
Telegram also brings a feature called Slow Mode which restricts the users to send messages frequently in a group.
When the admin of the group switches on the Slow Mode in a group, users will only be able to send messages after some time.
A timer will show how long the user has to wait before sending the next message.
Slow Mode can be helpful in specific scenarios. Where the conversation gets heated up, and you keep getting notifications, and it is difficult to understand what’s going on in the group.
Colors for night themes
The Telegram app already has got a Night mode. You can now select accent Colours for the night modes on iOS devices.
Group admins can now set custom titles for themselves. It can come convenient for professional groups with other organization.
Users on Telegram can send big files to each other. It is also used for sending clips as long as full movies.
Eclipse now I have got a thumbnail preview so that you cancel it thumbnail from a particular moment.
If a user adds a timestamp that such as 0:44, to the video caption, it will become a clickable link ok that can be tapped and the video starts playing from that particular time.
These are some of the fantastic new features that have come to telegram. I wish WhatsApp also doing something similar.
