Google has just made available its Smart Assistant-powered Google Home Hub, which is now called Google Nest Hub in India. The users can buy it for Rs 9999.

Google is already selling Google Home and Google Home Mini devices in India, and now, the users would also be able to get a third device, which has got a screen.

Specifications of Google Nest Hub.

The Google Nest Hub has Google Smart Assistant integration, which works pretty much like the Google Home and Google Home Mini but with 7-inch touch-based screen.

So apart from answering your queries, it can also display the results on the screen,  which was not possible with Google Home and Google Home Mini.

The 7-inch Google Nest Hub is a combination of a tablet PC and a smart speaker.

It allows you to watch content from YouTube, Gaana, other content streaming services. If it is in the kitchen, you can also get to watch recipes videos or read the text for the recipes on the 7-inch touch screen panel.

You can also use it for monitoring your home a security camera is connected. There is also a limited offering going on where you can get the Xiaomi Mi Security camera worth Rs 1799 for Re 1. Check out the detail.

The device has got Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth 5.0 support so that you can connect external speakers via Bluetooth.

The Google Nest Hub also works as the center of all the connected smart devices in your house.

Limited usage in India?

Google Home devices let users make calls by simply asking Google assistant, but this feature is currently not available in India.

Since the Google Nest Hub has got a screen, users in the US are also able to make video calls through the device, but, this functionality will not be available in India anytime soon.

Google already has competition in India when it comes to Smart Assistant with a screen.

Amazon launching  Amazon Echo Show 5, which has got Alexa integration, and comes with a 5.5-inch screen, the devices can be bought from Amazon India.

Also, Jio is all set to officially launch their high-speed broadband the Jio GigaFiber, which also has some features related to Smart Home automation to offer, we’ll have to wait till it unveils its plans after the launch on 5th September.
