Within a week after the announcement of official plans for the Jio GigaFiber, BSNL has made their first move to tackle Jio by introducing one new 100Mbps plan.
Details of the 100Mbps plan
The plan comes with 1TB of data per month, meaning users get 33 GB data per day. Once the daily quota is exhausted, the speed is reduced to 4 Mbps under fair usage policy.
The hundred Mbps plan comes bundled with a landline with free voice calls to any network across the country.
BSNL also offers a Rs 1277 plan which has 750 GB of monthly data to provide.
There is another high-value plan of Rs 2499 that offers 42 GB of daily data.
Details of the Plans can be found on the Office BSNL Website.
As of now, BSNL is offering three plans with 100 Mbps speed that are available in all circles.
The new Rs 1999 plan comes after Jio announced their official plan which offers 100Mbps plans for as low as Rs 699 with a data cap of 100 GB with 50 GB additional for first six months, you can find more details about the Jio GigaFiber plans here.
A lot of users were not happy with the plans offered by Reliance Jio which is kind of a relief for other internet service providers who was care of losing your business if Jio would have brought their plans at a cheaper rate.
100Mbps plans offered by Airtel
Airtel, which is also one of the largest Pan India internet service provider, offers a Rs 1999 V fiber data plan with unlimited local and STD calls.
The plan offers 100 Mbps speed with unlimited broadband data.
It will be interesting to see whether or not Jio would be revising their plans like they had done earlier with the Jio Foji in 2016 where we saw plants being changed multiple times.
