Also, all these plants are exclusive of the GST taxes, which means the Rs 699 plan wood actual cost around Rs 825.

The local internet service provider in my City, Lucknow, offers better plans then what jio is offering that too without a FUP.

And it is not me, Twitter is filled with people getting disappointed from the plans offered by JioFiber.

Jio is also offering some long term plans with extra benefits, which are as follows

Long term plans are also available for 3 Months, 6 Months, and 12 Months.

The 12-month plans are termed as Jioforever Annual Plans, and they offer devices such as LED TV, 4K Set-top box, Bluetooth speakers etc.

All the six plans are available to opt for 3 months or 6 months or for 12 Months.

If the users opt for any plan for 3 months, would be getting 25% extra data on their existing plans.

User form for any plan for six months will be getting an extra month on their existing plan.

If the user apps for the jio forever annual plan, they would be e getting devices for free, here is a break up device.

Bronze Jio Forever Plan (Rs 8,388) offers-

  • 6-watt Bluetooth speaker worth Rs 2,999
  • Jio home Gateway worth Rs 5,000
  • 4K Set-top box worth Rs 6,400

Silver Jio Forever Plan (Rs 10,188) offers –

  • 12-watt Bluetooth speaker worth Rs 3,999
  • Jio home Gateway worth Rs 5,000

It would be a 24-inch size, the prices of which are already under Rs 10,000 from different brands.

Rs 1299 + 18% GST = Rs 1533

Rs 1533 x 12 = Rs 18396

Rs 31176 – Rs 18396 = Rs 12780 – which is the amount the 24-inch HD TV would actually cost.

Users would also be getting Jio Home Gateway and 4K Set-top box in the free offer but it is also provided in all the offers irrespective of the Jio Forever annual plans.

Or if you want to get 32-inch HD TV or 43-inch LED TV you will have to spend even more, around Rs 47988 and Rs 101,988 respectively.

And speaking of Smart TVs, Redmi launched their Redmi TV in China, which is expected to arrive in India in a month or two, if we convert the China price in Rupees.

It roughly converts to Rs 38000, for a 55 inch LED TV, which is a much better deal than and what Jio Annual Forever plan is offering.
